stratis imperia: browser-based WWII game

#1 Post by martinuzz »

The past 2-3 months I've been playing an indie game made by some Polish guys: Stratis Imperia

http://www.stratisimperia.com

They've very recently started a new server, and the bay12 crowd over there could use a few more players in their country.
I think I can best describe the game as a browser based version of the Hearts of Iron games. Less graphical though. And hex based.
It involves building up industries, building units, researching technologies and working together to form a decent infrastructure and military command chain. Oh. And an amazingly HUGE world map. Time involvement is about 2x 5-10 minutes per day, somewhat more if it comes to war.

If anyone cares to give this one a try, please join us! There's 2 servers running; Wolf and Lion. Lion is the new server, Wolf has been running for a while now. Our group, mostly but not only bay12 folks, is playing Great Britain on the Wolf server, and Persia on the Lion server.

Regards, martinuzz
