Triangle Wizard: Arcade Roguelike

#1 Post by martinuzz »

I would like to bring to your attention, a nice hardcore game that has been in development for a while now.
Today, version 12.01 of Triangle Wizard has been released.
I am posting here, because I really feel this little jewel could do with some more players. It deserves it.
Be warned, it is highly addictive. Also, you will die a lot, in the true spirit of a roguelike. Beginning players might want to try a Troll Berserker, or Troll Marshall first. The former is just plain badass, the latter has some of the most powerful summons ingame.

Features:
- about 20 distinct races
- about 30 classes
- a lot of gods
- a whole lot of spells
- graphical ascii, it is possible?
- fixed quests, random quests
- hardcore realtime gameplay, while still keeping the 'roguelike' feel to it

Check it out and enjoy: http://trianglewizard.webs.com

Didn't download it but reading the news it sounds like the Trianglepedia is basically an in game wiki. Pretty awesome concept.

The only roguelike with 'The Flying Spaghetti Monster' as a playable god! 'More powerups as he uses his noodly appendages to place them there'!!
You inspired me to try this game again and it really is pretty awesome. Hard to get the hang of though so hit the tutorial.
