I am particularly interested in the various mana thresholds (for more damage, larger sphere radii, etc.)-- I'm trying to gin up a list of runespells geared for efficiency.

Alternately, maybe a brief explanation of how the Power Surge rune works, please?

It seems to not combine with everything properly (I was disappointed that Power Surge + Protection apparently does nothing), and I'm not sure how to set the radius of the effect. I had the impression Power Surge worked like a thaumaturgy "view" spell; is this wrong?

I *think* that in most cases it does act like a view spell, I dont know about protection though, I think I tried it before and it didnt work. so yeah, it probably just is broken, like the warning on the wiki (when it was up) said.
