summoner spoilers please

I am back at TOME after a long while and was glad to see all the old tricks still work. I used to start up my summoner like this:

- get mouse corpse in the wilderness
- go to swamp and use mice to get hydra corpses
- go to entrace of Angband and get some dragon corpses
- go to Lothlorien and get ancient aranea corpse

I used to be able to get Kraken, crystal/shadow dragon corpses somehow, but I've forgotten which corpses I need to get these. Can you please update the 'flow' of corpses so I can again get the really powerful critters (especially kraken). How do ancient araneas fare against krakens?

You can get up to mature red dragons in the mountains or the entrance to Angband.

I can't imagine that elder aranea are going to be able to kill a kraken. One breath attack would take out your whole army. You might be able to do something with the help of some friendly wavelords, but I would prefer mature bronze or gold dragons to aranea. I don't remember whether kraken resist confusion and sound.

No, dragons are wiped out, except, as I recall, special dragons, like crystal dragons. I once managed to kill kraken (after a long wait) using multihued worms (due to them breeding), but that was only once. If I need to spam summon, the kraken kills quicker than I regen mana and sooner or later comes for me.

Wavelords also are no match for the mighty kraken.

Best early summon is a cyclops from the wilderness over Angband. You can kill them with lizard kings that you get from the swamp below Bree.

A cyclops will last you quite a while. Until you can get something that will chain summon for you.

Edit: Unless something has changed since I played, all dragons leave corpses.

Edit2: You get the lizard king by swarming them with white mice or 3 headed hydras.

Edit3: It's also nice to get a wyvern to kill uniques with poison.
