Anchor of Space-Time doesn't prevent stat loss?

#1 Post by Ithulta »

I'm a lost soul death mold (don't know if that's relevant), I found the Anchor of Space-Time and popped it one just one time to kill a time vortex, but it didn't prevent the stat loss like it says it does on the wiki! What's going on?

EDIT:
Also, are there any other sources of restoring besides mushrooms and potions?

There are plenty of other restoration methods; activations on certain artefacts, the Nature spell, a purchasable option in some towns, etc...

Not sure about the Anchor.

In my experience the Anchor prevents stat loss from time attacks- "You feel like time is passing you by." So the time vortex should not have been able to drain or damage you.

I don't think it prevents other types of stat loss, but I am not sure.

Maybe there's a limit to the "time is passing you by" bit - say, if 1/20 attacks got through, which would fit with the way many things are arranged.

Yeah, I'm pretty certain that time resistance isn't 100%. Compare hold-life, which prevents most life drain attacks, and reduces the ones that do get through by a significant amount.
