Why do I disappear when I [P]ray to Melkor?

Can I set up the options in some way that allows me to see my @ when I pray to melkor? I can't find anything that works.

Melkor grants Invisibility... and you probably don't have See Invisble on any equipment (or innately).

I usually play with the "move cursor to player" (or some such) option on; that way you'll be able to see where you are at all times.

These are three options that I always use:

Use special symbols for the player char (3)
Highlight the player with the cursor (4)
Centre the view on the player (4)
