I've decided I'm going to start work on my own roguelike. The working name is "Olympus" and as you might guess it's based largely (albeit loosely) on Greek mythology.

(For the record, I'm aware that a series of major commercial RPGs is also based on that mythology; I've never played it, and Olympus will have nothing whatsoever to do with it. Sorry, Sony. :P )

I'll probably post something about this on Oook...

Aaand it's open again. I fail at decision making. Basically the issue is that I don't yet have the skills to write an object-oriented roguelike from scratch, so Olympus will be on back burner, probably well into next semester (by which time I will hopefully be familiar enough with data structures and whatnot to get started).

In the mean time TFork will be my spare time effort. I'll work on it when classes allow. Future commits will probably focus on bringing some semblance of balance back to this hideously unbalanced variant, since that is part of the mission statement... ;)

Edit: Or not. It turns out that there's basically no way to make some of the changes to barehand that I want. *sigh*
