ToME 2.3.5 running on WinXP, everything is working fine except now on my latest character, I find that when I try to write a character text dump ('C', then 'f' to file), the program crashes every time (with the usual Windows "this program has encountered an error" popup).
I'm guessing the trouble started a couple of days ago when ToME aborted abnormally on account of Windows locking up while I was watching a DVD. After a reboot I was so relieved to find my character was intact, back in Bree with only about half an hour of lost progress. But now whenever I try to write a character dump, the program makes a 0-byte file with that filename in lib/user but blows up before actually creating the dump.
Here's a zip file of my ToME directory if anyone wants to have a look: http://discolingua.com/tome_chardump_crash.zip

could you try making a new character and dumping the file from that? if you can, it probably means the other savefile got corrupted.
otherwise

Yeah, I can chardump just fine if I create a new character.
A corrupted savefile was pretty much what I was expecting.
Any ideas if there's anything I can do to fix it?
