I have no clue on how to use the wiki page to post it...

But the thing I was thinkin about every time I play is....

You quessed it; inventory management, so I have thought of the Yurts bag;

It's doesn't need to be called that, call it what ever ya want; it's just a six pocket bag:

Pocket #1 Consumables: Rations of food, raw meats, potions, anything you ingest(holds A-W; why not A-Z though??)

Pocket #2 Readables: Scrolls, books, parchments; anything you read(A-W)

Pocket #3 Wearables: Rings, helms, gloves, cloaks; anything you wear(A-W)

Pocket #4 Weapons and Ammo: Swords, daggers, Arrows, shoots; Any type of weapon or ammo, that should include wands, staffs, rods, bows, ect.(A-W)

Pocket #5 Miscellaneous: Anything that doesn't fit elsewhere; tools, lamps, gems, runes, essences, bones, sticks, ect.(A-W)

Pocket #6 Quick Extraction: Holds 12 Items that you use most often that you would be able to switch to or wield/wear without a time penalty; so it would be like you never touched a single key...

I hope this makes sence and all...
I would have posted in Ideas thread, but it is locked and I tried to figure wiki out but like I was close to editing the page and I didn't know what I was doing so I stopped(would hate to be responsible for screwing up ya'll hard worked page)

Here's a second thought Name it something cool or whatever and make it a new Artifact so that you have to work to get it or make it hellishly expensive, but widely available and make up a good back story for it (I already have one)....

Now I know that would be major to implement(you'd have to "tag" all the items so they automatically go in there assigned compartments and whatnot), but it would be very beneficial to many players I believe...

Honestly, I wouldn't call this a waste of time, but I would be against implementing it, because I enjoy the trouble of ivnentory management. I already think we have too many houses at least as a player of certain classes. Other classes may need more space, but my sorcerors never use all the standard houses. I could do with just two houses without cramping my style more than a bit.
We need to have problems with carryable inventory. They're the only houses we have left!

I may be mistaken, but aren't "expandable backpacks" being worked into ToME 3?

Now I understand that Some people may like the challenge of inventory management, I do too, but to an extent; I'm just thinking of a bag system that would help sort out your stuff as well as enable you to carry a bit more...

Like for an instance, I'm an Elder Scrolls fan and I was thinking of how the inventory system is in Oblivion; it's kinda like what I suggested(with the exception of Quick Equip pouch), you would still have a weight limit so it would have negative repercussions if you just filled it all the way up with heavy stuff...

but, if you make it an Rare Artifact, it can be made so the contents inside won't burden your Char at all, then if you don't want it you can sell it for a lot or whatever you want to do with it....
