I'm in the same boat as zasvid. I don't think I've ever said it out loud, and when I think it, its just "identify", like the regular identify, except with, umm, greater "presence" so to speak. Like its in bold, perhaps.

However, that's only because it never occured to me to think of it as Iiiiii-DENT-ify, which is now how I will always think of it.

Eyes burning, reaction rate diminished, vocabulary deteriorating...you have just been infected with the TOME addiction bug causing you to stay up to the wee hours of the morning playing this great game! :D

*Gasp*

All you people here actually *Speak* in public? Being in this forum isn't the only contact with another human being you get all day?
... I must be missing out on something.

But anyways, I never thought much about it either. I don't have any cool friends to talk about ToME with. I suppose everyone here would be the exception to the "talk about" part, and maybe even the "cool" part, but often times when around people who actually know something about computers and who *talk* with their friends about the latest Linux wonder or the marvel of self-recorded tecno music or how many times they've taken on fifteen balrogs after forgetting to put on their equipment, I just kinda get the feeling that I should be somewhere else. Maybe hearing about people talking with other people about things not really relating to me does that too. So.... see you all around sometime.

And its a scroll of {dramatic pause} Identify really cool stuff.
The name "Balrog in a Bucket" is dedicated to the first character of mine who ever died from a balrog.

I just call it 'id'; whether it's id or *id*.

If I'm specifically talking about the two, I'll say 'star-id', but I generally don't do that at all.
