Same here. I've actually been to Paris quite some time ago; a lovely place and I wish I could have been there much longer in order to better appreciate it. If I ever get back, I'll buy you a drink, too.
I always play female characters. Now, I'm female in real life, but it's not really a thing of imagining myself as the character, since I usually play dwarves. I guess partly I just find it amusing to imagine a female dwarf at all. I don't want to feel like I have to play a male to go around and kick butt as a warrior type character.
But .. just how many players are actually girls ?
From the replies it seems lots of them...
And I'll get lots of drnks it seems
/me starts a new poll
PS: I've never been too botherred by sex traps, most of my chars end up the same sex
they started with, do you people intentionnaly step up on traps or what ?

I think that, since the traps are just annoying, and don't affect gameplay, they shoul be removed. You might as well have a Trap of Name Changing, if you want to keep them in.

What, and the traps that temporarily remove a point of charisma do affect game play?
Personally, though, I think that's a good reason for leaving them in. I'd much prefer to hit a sex change trap than, say, a plasma bolt trap or a curse weapon trap.
As for name traps... The big effect of a name change trap would be to confuse oook dumps. Probably not worth it for the little bit of extra safety a character might get out of it.
I am male. I play male characters. I can just associate with them better. I absolutely hate traps of femininity/masculinity/nuetrality. They are just plain annoying and mess up part of the role playing value of the game. Since they don't really affect actual game play at all, I think they should be gotten rid of. I have a similiar feeling for "traps of shrinking/growing". Do these actually affect any game play or are they just in there to annoy me personally?
They all have as much use as would a "trap of change character history" or "five minute hair coloring trap".
The gender bending traps should at least be reversible with some kind of healing rather than having to scum for the opposite gender bending trap.

Once upon a time, I was repeatedly trying to disarm a trap with a good character, and I wasn't really paying attention to what I was doing until it finally disarmed and I saw it was a Trap of Shrinking. *gasp* I rapidly brought up the character sheet and found that she/he/it was 13" tall!!!
I ended up laughing so hard that I accidentally got her/him/it killed before I could make a character dump to document it. So, yes, traps of shrinking/growing can be dangerous
There are a number of trap threads in the ideas forum.
