Re: Bug tracker move complete

I've turned off bug notifications until I can find out what's happening.

Re: New documentation wiki

FACM, happy to help; I enjoyed reading it. I'd like to see some sort of standard code notation for this wiki to keep things consistent. This was a good exercise for that. I tried using a method I developed for Mediawiki at my work, but Dokuwiki just doesn't have the power to do what I want. Things a...

Bug tracker move complete

The ToME 3 bug tracker has been moved to its new home alongside the code documentation and the developer's wiki. I've gone through much of it to make sure its stable, but there are always gremlins lurking about. Let me know if you find any. The new location: http://www.tomedev.net/tome/bugs I'll be ...

Re: New documentation wiki

The new developer wiki is now online at http://www.tomedev.net/tome/wiki . If you are a T-Engine developer and would like write access, leave a request on this thread, or send me a PM. Also, the Alpha 19 docs are up at http://www.tomedev.net/tome/docs . Currently this is for the C portion of the eng...

Re: Module development documents

I'm talking about the new dev wiki, not the current wiki.

Re: Module development documents

This is exactly the kind of thing I'd like to see on the developer wiki. Nice work.

Now, if we can only get the powers that be to add a new DNS record to point to it so people can start using it. :?

Re: New documentation wiki

I fully agree with supporting doxy/luadocs code docs. I think this should be a requirement for all future activity. One option would be to not post any code documentation for the public until all the code has been documented, then post those doxy/luadocs along side the wiki information. Another opti...

Re: New documentation wiki

I currently host the bug tracker and several various wikis. Hosting another shouldn't be much trouble.

New documentation wiki

I was thinking that this would be a good point to start a new t-engine wiki for strictly code documentation, HowTos for extending the t-engine, and module making. Only developers would have write access to keep away the spam and general mess of the current wiki. Wiki suggestions could come through t...

Re: Unofficial T-Engine and ToME HG repositories

Good point. Other than the SDL issues, I don't know what's still valid.

Re: Unofficial T-Engine and ToME HG repositories

Ok, I've decided to look the bugs site now. Do we want anyone to be able to close entries, or a delegated group of users?

Re: Unofficial T-Engine and ToME HG repositories

I think bugs.t-o-m-e.net is still the best place to post bug reports, it's very underused right now and seems not anyone cares about it anymore, so it needs a lot of love. One problem is that few developers have access to close reports and stuff. Bug reports on bitbubket are ok too I guess, but if ...

Re: Unofficial T-Engine and ToME HG repositories

I'm happy to start fixing up the SDL build (the windowing system is horribly broken). Once it's basically functional, I guess it's on to the tome module... Yes, it sure is. Every time I try and get back into it, I get pulled onto some other project. Let me know if you need help, and I'll do what I ...

I voted no. I have a number of non-X Linux boxes I use to play and I'm a bit of a console junkie. I play with one Windoze box on occasion, but I try not to use it unless work gets boring.
