Re: ToME 2 maintenance
I confirm (a little late) that it worked for me. Thank you very much for the instructions to build on Windows.

Re: [b29] starting te4 maxes cpu, does nothing else
That option really slimmed down the size of the executable! And it works! Thank you.

Re: [b29] starting te4 maxes cpu, does nothing else
I managed to compile it, but my build gives the same error messages.
In premake4.lua, I set in the build options for the debug build "-mno-sse2", but it makes no change to the te4_log file, although the executable size changed slightly. I must be doing something wrong...

Re: [b29] starting te4 maxes cpu, does nothing else
That's really nice of you... Thank you very much. I'll start looking for a new computer... Maybe I can find one if I look hard enough on garbage collection day.
Since no one else has reported any issue, I'll try to compile it to avoid wasting your time just to please one person.

Re: [b29] starting te4 maxes cpu, does nothing else
Resizing does not help in my case. Minimizing t-engine to the taskbar instantly brings the memory usage to 2 MiB. I also tried deleting the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\T-Engine", which did not help. The folder is not rebuilt when I start the program.

[b29] starting te4 maxes cpu, does nothing else
Hello and first, thanks for making such a great game. I have been playing beta 28 quite a bit recently. I downloaded today beta 29, but it seems it will simply not work on my computer. The process t-engine.exe takes all the CPU cycles it can get when it is started, and memory usage is stays around 2...

Re: ToME 2 maintenance
Right after posting my comment I realized I ran cmake . from within the src directory instead of the root directory tome2.
After correcting this, I can get it to compile, as long as SDL support is disabled. My apologies.

Re: ToME 2 maintenance
Hi. First off, I would like to thank you for pursuing the maintenance of tome 2. It is still a fun game. I am contacting you because I've had troubles running the current head version (b35abe4978f83bee7eebdcce7df4228503086ed4). I run Debian testing, and I have installed all the packages required to ...

Re: what happened to the wiki?
I wouldn't mind porting a few web pages from the web archive to the wiki, but all I get when I try to access the Tome 2 part of the wiki is "access denied".

Request for changes to "The Variant Maintainer" unique
Hi. I've been playing tome 2 on and off for a few years now, and I would like to suggest a small change to the monsters list. I like to play with all the monsters enabled (I've actually made a small patch to the game to enable zangband and cthangband monsters), and I find The Variant Maintainer http...
