ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

You guys are freakin' me out, man. I've got it set for 49 quests (every even level) not knowing that this would be my first character to displace the necromancer and have a shot at entering angband. Maybe I'll get lucky and die in Erebor and not have to deal with those quests.

I had assumed that an artifact was eligible to be created as long as it didn't already exist (i.e. it wasn't in your house, mathom, or inventory). What actions will prevent an artifact from ever being recreated?
