I tried all different mages to fight warding beast.
And arcane seems really weakest and ice mage the strongest.
At least at early game.
Haven't tried stone mage yet.

Disable background bot fight on menu screan (slowing game load)?
After few savegame loads with different characters main menu becomes less responsive and load takes more time. Despite I run game completely from RAM with no hd and it is not intensive game graphics game. If I could disable backround bot fights I could check if it helps. Or there are other suggestio...

I played an alchemist and found few items for arcane caster so decided to try arcane archmage. Human cornac archmage is 11 level and he seems a bit goofy with his spells.
