In that case my point still stands. You can do everything on madness/madness roguelike, and the rest are just to pump the numbers up. I know not everyone likes it that way, but for me it's quality>quantity, and higher difficulties should have only milestone achievements.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but is there a chance for a rework of steam achievements? Currently, almost 2 thousand achievements combined with screenshots that don't look very inviting for new players, give impression of a cheap achievement-farm game. On top of that, I don't think it's possible...
