Yeah you do. You only don't get achievement based unlocks on easier mode, since you don't earn achievements there. Other than that though, everything can be unlocked in exploration mode.

Are class unlocks that are tied to achievements awarded literally only when the achievement is gained as opposed to when the conditions to earn the achievement are completed? I recently returned to the game, and I had wiped my unlocks sometime in the past for one reason or another, but not achieves....
