For some reason there is no score list available in my download of 221. When I die it asks: "Dumb the screen? [(y)es/(n)o]" and then: "No score list available."

Be sure to have the option connected stairs on, so you can go up/down/up/down... until the next stairway up is close to you.

OK. Then I'm a cheater. I can deal with it.

But after mucking with savefiles the savefile is still uncheated, as it is not after using the cheat menu. As i said before, using backups is a grey-zone.
Anyway, is it that bad using them?

So you should really start thinking about using a backup.
