I got the same bug in the same spot: The 3rd floor of the far-portal green-walled dungeon. My game is set to only save on level 1 of each dungeon, so I actually replayed the dungeon a few times, and it froze each time on generating level 3. I have not used any mods; it's the basic Steam installation...
