While encountering a Zigur patrol, I found some runes on the ground.
I entered those at the occult egress and it slowed all map patrols for the rest of this run.

Now I just have to see how good the herald is.

My first impression is that it's pretty good, considering I'm in the maze and it's hitting things for 300 damage.

After all, it still lists your original race on the character sheet.

I'm glad the game has such weird and wild things now.

I found something really weird, and I just had to share this. So I found an item called the fanged collar, and if you die while wearing it, it will replace your head with a parasite, bringing you back to life. You lose your head slot and can't change neck slot, you can't level your old racial skills...
