Tri-Gunner: because more bullets is better
I've been running various adventurer builds that center around dual wielding guns while psionically wielding a third gun. Because it's funny. I run a Yeek when I do this, because I think it's even funnier. I'm not very good at the game, but I've mentioned the build a handful of times in Discord and ...

I am also experiencing a similar bug where I cannot enable steam cloud sharing of characters.

Re: [1.4.9] Cornac Paradox mage guide, six category unlocks!
If bump-attacking is a thing the build does, would it maybe be better to unlock staff mastery and spend those 5 points in the staff combat tree instead?

Just thought I'd note that baby fire drakes no longer count to your summon limit, which is pretty boss.

Re: Steamdemon: Saws + Demon Seeds (Insane/RL EoR winner)
Yup. You still find recipes and steamtech gear as an adventurer even with no steamtech talents unlocked, so you won't have those issues. In fact, holding on to recipes is really helpful to you in general, since once you unlock tinkers your spare recipes that you've been carrying and no longer need m...

Re: Steamdemon: Saws + Demon Seeds (Insane/RL EoR winner)
Definitely worth mentioning that, because you start with the APE, it's not very important for adventurer's to rush to get tinker access. They can afford to wait until they can do so safely, because ultimately all they're losing out on is access to the talents. You're positioned really well to wait u...

Re: Steamdemon: Saws + Demon Seeds (Insane/RL EoR winner)
Actually, Adventurers in AoA always start with the Automated Portable Extractor, so they'll have it available from the start of the game, so you're able to build up materials before even meeting your tinker escort. Unlocking the trees individually is possible, but still a far, far worse deal than an...

Re: EoR Zone Order
That's the order I do EoR in so far (a minor change to step five, but I'm putting that up front). After that I generally go: 5) Enter the desert then immediately leave to do dominion port 6) Desert 7) Ritch Hives (these can be switched) 8) Enter the Sunwall then immediately leave to do Observatory (...

Re: Best classes and builds for Yeeks?
What I've been seeing on posessor so far has mostly had them behind either Cornac, Shalore, or Ogre, but I'm honestly willing to believe I've been misled, as I think people tend to underestimate Yeeks in general because of their rough early game (for example, I think Yeek Archmage is actually pretty...

Re: Best classes and builds for Yeeks?
Summoner really does even out Yeek's issues and accentuate their strengths in ways other, generally "stronger" classes, cannot. The meatshield nature of summons (especially turtles) makes up for low early survivability. The global speed is useful combined with summoner abilities later sinc...

Re: staff combat nerf? does it effect doombringer advice?
Not, like, super great at this game but I play Doombringer a fair amount. Conventional Wisdom as far as races go is that in spite of the nerfs, Ogre's still far from a *bad* race. They have unique abilities that make them really solid, and Doombringer appreciates some of them. I don't think there's ...

Re: [Theorycrafting] Classes with notable CON scaling
Meant to post this earlier but the post didn't get put up. The Prodigy Subcutaneous Metallization scales with con, providing flat damage reduction. I think that as long as you pick a class that has solid damage reduction to pair with the prodigy, you have access to the conditioning tree either innat...

Re: [Theorycrafting] Classes with notable CON scaling
The subcutaneous Metallisation prodigy seems like one of the better things to do with absurdly high con. Once you drop below 50% you get your full con as flat damage reduction vs everything. With enough resist all helping out and other sources of flat damage reduction on top of it you could probably...

Auras non-functional on ranged weapons?
I built a Yeek Adventurer to wield 3 steamguns and it seems like the auras don't apply when tri-wielding guns? I'm not dealing the bonus fire damage. Swapping my telekinetically-wielded weapon to a greatsword didn't cause my guns to get aura damage, but swapping my main-hand weapon(s) to the greatsw...
