I think both the ID and the lichdom are heavily under issues. I never really experienced lichdom in my playthroughs. In the EoR campaign, there are no way to become a lich (?) and in Arena, when there are only 1 life (the option is activated), I DOUBT if the killing blow make lichdom completely usel...

I'm heavily interested in the Arena mode, since it provides quick leveling (leading to building different classes) and an unique excitement. Have you noticed that...Long-distance teleportation is basically useless and waste points, resources and turn (?) in this mode.

Either make a bigger arena, or tweak the skill (even only the description) please!

About difficulties - I usually play normal/nightmare exploration

The difficulty is higher than the campaign mode - the vault would spawn higher level monsters than expected,
and on higher levels, monsters level much faster than PC (even normal)

Lol, it could be a mage who haven't learnt or doesn't bother to learn heavy armor. The shield is cosmetic, funny and doesn't provide many defence function, rather than other things. Kind of like Bikini/Mankini.
