Few dumb questions...
Ok, so I played this for a while using the free basic only TOME, no frills. Now I found it on steam on sale, and bought everything. There was a chat window on the free account I can't find now that I have a "premium version". Is that chat window gone? Do I have to login to steam to see it?...

How do you deal with an invincible enemy?
Lately, I've been killed most often by rares with psionic abilities. I run into things with damage shields and regen that exceeds my damage output, and fail to get away. Psycoportation tends to land me in bad places because I don't run fast enough, (same with teleport and phase door). When I do get ...

Re: A returned player questions.
This isn't a spoiler (I think) what I did was to take whatever class, and when I got to the dungeon where you need to unlock it, I recalled out without moving, so never activated what's necessary. Did some level 1 dungeons to level up then came back. Didn't see any reason to try for the unlock under...

Re: Make Necromancer minions never decay while autoexploring
Once you get your aura skill to 5/5 you will generally keep 5 minions around even auto exploring. I found that the number of minions you keep alive is 1 less than the radius of your aura. More importantly, stop auto-exploring while you have mages until you get the skill that stops them from blowing ...

Re: Multiple Negative Health Items
Check shops for armor of the deep, or belts of unlife before doing the water dungeon. If you don't see one, or don't want to pay for it, go attack wandering patrols in the over world. Armor of the deep is a fairly common drop from patrols, belt of unlife can be found for roughly 50 gold depending on...

Re: Who gets the most attacks per round?
AFAIK, this computation is incorrect. So if you are dual wielding, you can get 2 (regular) hits + 2*3 proc hits + whatever gives your equipment or talent (TK, flurry, etc) That's exactly what I was counting on, unless you are saying that to make my wall of text babble translated for not noobs. ex. ...

Re: Who gets the most attacks per round?
AFAIK, this computation is incorrect. The "of projection" ego can give you 2 or 3 extra ranged attacks and it does not depend of the kind of weapon, daggers of 2H are similar and can both get either 2 or 3 attacks.. But the first weapon that triggers the proc will forbid any other applica...

Re: Who gets the most attacks per round?
Let me expand the math. Rogues dual wielding, get to bump for 2, flurry for 6 every 12 rounds, and fan if knives for 9 every 10 rounds. that comes out to 3.0333333 attacks per round (over 120 rounds, not including timeless giving more by resetting cool downs slightly faster) if the rogue is using da...

Re: Who gets the most attacks per round?
thanks, this is very interesting, but I wanted most hits that would count for say 20% chance to apply a random gloom on hit. That is about 1 skill triggering the most effects (unless I'm reading it wrong). What I want is the exact opposite, the most ways to trigger 1 effect, so it's going to proc ev...

Who gets the most attacks per round?
I'm thinking it's a mind slayer, dual wield + psychic wield is 3, but rogues can burst a 6 attack round every so often, and have fan of daggers that can hit 9 times if enough targets are available, so it might be them if you include Shalore timeless cool-down. Looking for a class that will get the m...

Re: Updated Alchemist Guide: the beginner friendly class
Why play an alchemist? Items that add to the resistance penetration of your element are also nice, but those are usually inferior to simple boosts of the damage type. For example, if a monster has 10% resistance and you have an item increasing resistance penetration by 10%, it will increase your ne...

Re: Should I buy strength as an archmage?
the armor I want to wear(for now) is troll hide leather, so only needs a 14 strength, and no skill. I see a lot of old guides that say to basically give everyone the first heavy armor skill so they can wear iron gloves and boots-if you find good ones. I have no iron armor I want to wear currently, i...

Re: Should I buy strength as an archmage?
I am aware of the extra mana cost for fatigue (actually, with disruption shield, wasting mana is a good thing...), what I want to know is how many stats can you max out? Will I have enough from leveling alone (not including escort or alchemy quests) to spare some for strength if I want to max magic,...

Should I buy strength as an archmage?
I'm currently level 15, and doing tier 2 dungeons. I have found only 1 item in the stores with +3 strength. I have armor I want to wear (very badly want to wear), need 14 strength, have 8.... The armor is a +89 health, 20% heal mod, 4.2 life regen troll leather. This would add almost 50% more health...
