ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I was fighting Myssil, the boss of Zigur, after being teleported there by the Grand Corruptor. I ended up dying on the same turn as her, and I was transported to the Eidolon Plane. The a box popped up saying "Assign Hexes tree to which party member?" with no options, and I had to quit out....

I am playing a Kruk Yeti berserker, and for some reason it seems to have a -60% fire damage malus, and I can't figure out why. To add to the weirdness, it doesn't show up in the online character sheet. It does show up ingame, here is a screenshot. What is going on here?

I often use several PCs throughout the day, is there any way to easily transfer my character from one PC to another, other than manually copying the save file? It would be nice if it could be automatically uploaded online, or have an easy way to change where the file is saved to, so I can have it sa...
