ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Is there any way to adjust the screen size from the initial screen without seeing the options menu? Somehow my game is 4x as large as my window, no idea how it happened but I can't see into the menu to change it at that point. Must have been some preference I messed with but it has been several day...

Whenever I open the T-engine, it expands to the point that I cannot find the controls. I know they're in there somewhere, because I can see just enough that when I use cmd-Q, I get part of the closing dialogue box, but any controls, including resolution, are off-screen and inaccessable. ToME 1.4.9, ...

Somehow, my screen settings are so messed up, I cannot see any of the commands when I start the game. I cannot scroll to the commands to change the resolution to something I can see...
