For legal reasons he isn't allowed to communicate on any form of public forum, chat service, etc. completely private specifically targeted messages only.

Essentially anything that could be construed as a message or other form of communication from him to another person at least in a multiplayer communication sense. Hence why I'm asking instead of him. he can only send and receive emails as far as online communication goes.

I have a friend with some unfortunate internet restrictions that limit what he is allowed to post online. That is to say he can't post anything online. At all.
