The impact is clear, especially in early game, other races are not forced to put points into their Race Category (as mentioned above), so that gives all Races 4 Generic points to start in any 8 or less Categories they choose... I agree, like ANY Category, only as a Cornac you get 1 less Generic Point to do that.

Well, it's a pretty good deal for being Cornac human to replace the Racial Tree for a choice at any another tree, and that +1 fairness Generic Point i mention in this thread won't matter at Level 50, but it sure as heck does at Level 1 when you start off. Well, the others get a hell'of a bonus, only i don't see that as fair; or better put, i see little reason to take that additional point loss in gameplay and play as a Cornac Adventurer. Please, I'm not confusing Generic with Category points, the Category Point setting is fair imho, what's not fair are the Generic points. If the Cornac spends that one extra Category Point to activate a Category then you see the unfairness right off, a Cornac then has 3 Generics and others have 4 Gen...

I think this is completely unfair, Cornac Human Adventurers get 3 Generic Points and no Race Category(s) to start by default, all the other Races get 4 Generic Points as well as their Race Category to start. !? Ok, ambushed just implies i've been encountered, not that i've been surprised or trapped, i guess the game makers mean that i'm just having a hostile encounter, ambushed could make sense if they moved into me, but i'm moving into them, ambushes normally imply an advantage which there apparently isn't.

A few UI Buttons have offset activations...
When trying to mouse click several buttons to the right the activate areas are offset lower than they should be... One has to click almost at the bottom of the two buttons to activate them (Level & Manage Inventory buttons).
