Mb its not best idea to use shadowveil on roguelike? Was using it after last category and with regen/heroism/shield prebuff. Its actually very fun skill once u can afford to safely use it. Heard that cauterize is good prodigy for roguelike.

Did nm pre 1.5 and 1.5.3 insane recently . If u played diablo 2 as necromancer you will love shadows. For 1st category i would always upgrade em. 4 instead of 3. They will do all job with rares/uniques/bosses while u smoke. Simply because umbraphage isnt reliable drop. Good guide and relevant except...

Some sustains have stored data that isn't safe to just reset after changing talent level. For example, resetting Bone Shield on level-up would also reset the number of charges left, which would not be intended. You have to reactivate sustain when level up talent to have proper regeneration charge rate, it wasnt obvious!

-Recently did nightmare and in final fight elandar was killing golem in 1-3 turns, thats x skillpoints, blithed summoning prodigy and some escort rewards simply wasted. 2nd insane win. Last time was with shalore sun paladin. Sun+timeless... Not a fan of insane cos usually then u press "z" lifes count goes -1. Also its slow. Have to be carefull in situations like 3+ uniques and bosses around. Normal becomes boring, easy and less items. Nightmare is ok. But...

Dont pick meteor prodigy, simply dont. Meteors 1shot your golem or make him hostile for 1 turn. With body of fire it becomes even more random. Golem is nice till dreadfell. Also if there is enemy with fearscape u gonna fight alone. Dispersion gloves can help a lot here.
