ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

What would easily keep this from happening is if you didn't get the Zero Point teleport and the main Maj'eyal port in town didn't work til after you complete the Morass.

Since I had to wait for my post to get approved an all that I just restarted my game. Now I'm leveling characters and trying to get the Caldera to spawn so I can unlock the Solopsist.

I killed the weaver queen and then went around to clean up the rest of the spiders (to hopefully level again) and then I used the Zero Point teleport to get back... but the other boss didn't spawn, seems it only spawns if you use the rift left by the weaver queen. So, my question is this... can I ge...
