Sorry for resurrecting this old thread, but I just encountered this very bug in the Old Forest, pedestals 100% reset when you exit Old Forest (3) zone and return, pedestals sometimes reset right in the middle so you can summon two bringers of doom without even leaving the zone. So umm, bug confirmed...

Slaves turn "friendly" but keep grappling you anyway
In the Hidden Compound with all the Slavers, killing a Slaver will turn its two slaves friendly sure enough, but if one of them had a grapple going, it will keep choking the life out of you and prevent movement anyway.
Expected behavior: Grapple debuff should clear on grapple owner turning friendly.

The achievement description of "A Fist Full of Demons" says "Killed 200 demons."
Should be "Killed 1000 demons." instead because that's what the in-game counter is counting to.
This applies to all nine versions of the achievement, obviously.

To clarify, all my posts except the one about doors referred to the big map you pull up with tab, not the minimap in the corner.

It sure doesn't tell the little adventurer to go to the corresponding spot on my setup. Moving the mouse pointer on the map does move the underneath dungeon to that spot. But clicking the map tells the adventurer to go to the spot on the underneath dungeon the mouse is at, I think, not to the spot o...

Yesterday, I had a blue tier 5 drop from an ambush at level 13. The ambush guys were what, level 16-18 elites? This happened on normal roguelike, and I never even seen a tier 3 item with that character in all the dungeons he visited up to that point. So yeah, it's been much fun hacking tier 2 monste...

Every time I see the map in WebTiles Crawl it's just so neat looking. It would be nice if ToME's map showed where the doors are, and whether they are open, and the vault doors too in a different color. Also, I think when the map is open, clicking the map should calculate where on the map you clicked...
