Re: help me understand Cursed Aura

After the latest buffs, Cursed Aura is in an excellent place, and I would definitely recommend it for all Doomed and many Cursed.

Re: Cornac Cursed (CoCu) Guide [1.4.x]

What's so good about Rampage, anyway? I find it pretty underwhelming, and I would never recommend unlocking it at level 1 -- Cursed can't afford to sink class points into it before level 10 anyway. On a Cornac cursed, I would definitely prefer to start with a 4th inscription.

What happened to the 3rd inscriptions

I remember a while back, most races were given an additional inscription in their starting inventory (because the third slot might come pre-filled with a manasurge). Humans, Thaloren, Dwarves, Halflings, and Yeeks do seem to be receiving their Healing inscriptions correctly. However, Shaloren and Og...

Re: Doombringer guide - melee build 1.24

I can confirm that Staffbringers work quite well on Nightmare, at least up through the 30s, but one can't rely on Incinerating blows to do much. You need other proc items and/or an artifact staff. The Proc Build: Although Doombringers don't have amazing built-in procs, they do have the the ability t...

Re: Afflicted Overhaul v0.4

HousePet,

I'm a bit confused. Is this going to be an addon or is DarkGod merging it into the main game?

Re: Arcanum Class Pack v2.2.3

Hey, Thank you HousePet for all your work on the game and on your various add-ons. They seem prodigiously complex, and well-coded. I haven't read all 41 pages, as it seemed mostly like bug discussion, so please forgive me if this has been covered already, but I want to ask. Has there been discussion...

Re: Remove "DLC Spotlight" for DLC owners

@DarkGod,

No, I'm launching the app through Steam but my Tome profile is usually logged out. That's probably the problem. If I can replicate the behavior while logged in, I'll let you know. Otherwise I think we're all good.

Re: In the name of equality: Mindstar Accuracy bonuses.

Think of it this way: Every weapon type has a "special accuracy feature." For other weapons it's the accuracy bonuses. For Mindstars, its WIllpower -> Accuracy. Mindstar users don't really deserve to scale on accuracy IMHO, because unlike staff or sword users, they get accuracy for free wi...

Remove "DLC Spotlight" for DLC owners

Before Ashes of Uhr'Rok released, I would get to see 2 recommended add-ons every time I played. Now Ashes permanently occupies 1 slot, so I only get half the recommendations. I understand that of course the paid DLC needs to be advertised, but since I've already bought it, it would be nice to get mo...

Re: Wyrmic breath based "caster" guide

I think Sand Breath is the best, because you can activate Burrow for a huge amount of physical penetration, and then stack +physical gear with the phys pen to make sand breath and bellowing roar both strong. Blind is also a pretty good status. You'll also get decent weapon damage this way, if you ca...

Re: Command Staff

All staves have a damage bonus, the damage type of which can be changed with Command Staff. Not quite. A few artifact staves don't grant Command Staff. Bolbum's Big Knocker grants a fixed Physical bonus; Crystal Shard, IIRC, has Arcane and Blight. And I believe Penitence grants Nature. The first tw...

Re: Cornac Cursed (CoCu) Guide [1.2.5]

Reckless Charge is amazing and you're not remotely giving it its due. Leveling it up increases the range but also enables you to knock enemies out of the way. I basically always have 3/5 by level 10, and it almost completely solves the problems you report with getting surrounded on AM. Also, thought...

Re: To Rush or to not Rush - Sun Paladin

Definitely unlock Combat Techniques. Sun Paladins generally don't need to unlock generic trees, and Shalore paladins REALLY don't need to. You have so many amazing skills to invest in. This means you can freely unlock 2 class trees. You will almost certainly want either Guardian or Crusader; Guardia...
