What is the focus on Nightmare being used as a proxy for, if anything, related to interest or ability? E.g. There have been 16 Insane Mode Drem and Dwarf Stone Warden Winners in 1.5, so maybe you've learned that people who win with Stone Warden aren't particularly likely to play Nightmare. Or maybe...

Aha! I guess that was it. Since there was also a bug in adding the DLC to Steam, Steam never really realized I had it and so never updated. Thanks. Time to roll another char

I have just killed the Scourge with a Drem character but didn't get the scourge unlock. Is it because drems are magic-users? How exactly this unlock works?

I don't get this mantra that Ogre/Shalore are so much better than the rest of the races. I have a few Insane/RL wins under my sleeve and the easiest of those were with Dwarven characters. Nightmare is indeed boring, but I'm not sure how people are supposed to beat insane/roguelike without some insane luck. I've been running a character with over 1700 hp, 57% all resistance and 70% in all the standard resistances, and yet I've still managed to get hit for over 1000 damage in a single...

insane assumes drowning to start which is a bad tedious mechanic, other than that it's pretty fun because it keeps you thinking and your character is very strong compared to lower difficulties.
