It looks like you're missing some libraries that ToME needs at runtime. If you install software using apt (i.e. using apt-get, aptitude, or synaptic on Ubuntu), dependencies are sorted out and installed automatically for you. There is no package for ToME in the official Ubuntu repositories for 14.10...
