Re: Basic Guide to Mindslayer for Nightmare/Insane
Oh my goodness. Flame someone that posts a guide on a class that doesn't have an up to date guide. Bunch of cowards and internet know it all trolls. Any guide at all is a good guide. People are smart enough to figure things out on their own, and more than half the fun is in playing around with build...

Re: Fixing the Summoner
I don't disagree with any of this, but I do think Summoners are not that weak, just extremely challenging. They are in a unique niche of their own with a very different playstyle. Compared to other classes like the new necromancer, of course they are. Comparing classes is not really a fair compariso...

Re: Fixing the Summoner
Agree. Summoner is interesting in that they can melee with mindstars fairly well and taking heavy armor is not an issue. They also have access to combat superiority tree opening up a unique option to go heavy tanking with pet support when needed. I found going this route fairly effective with good s...

Nightmare Higher Anorithil (First Nightmare Win)
First real crack at an Anorithil. Love the class. Pop your circles, sunburst, watch everything die. Fun times!

Re: [1.7.2] Anorithil guide (Moas edition)
Thanks for this very well written guide. I've played anno a few times and it never clicked for me until I read through this and then started one. I went straight for circles and focused that. Wow. Just demolishes everything. This higher anno now has 140% darkness boost and 80% crit so Corona usually...

Re: 1.6.7 Demonologist bugs.
It's a very strange class concept. Seems confused between being a tank class and a caster and devs just kinda gave up trying to make sense of it. The whole demon seed thing just doesn't really work but it's an interesting concept of tailored gear with different combinations of seeds. That's not real...

Re: Doomed v1.7B4 Feedback
Darkness on a 20s cd is just horrible on a class that is one of if not the most susceptible to range attack. It's probably their only real defense against it. The skill should definitely be passive. Creeping tendrils is also worthless in its current form as others noted. Change it instead to be pass...

First Win - Dwarf Storm Archmage
https://te4.org/characters/137245/tome/cbb24b79-e99b-45fa-b4d3-b9826fc8e940 Tinkered around with this game for years and never got serious about a run. Started this dwarf thinking, "hey, lets give a lightning Archmage a shot", and hey. It worked out! Ton a fun and man this guy packs a heck...

Re: 1.6.7 Insane Corruptor Guide
Agree with most of this. Even at level 30 with a thalore corruptor I am regularly doing over 10k damage just with soul rot. I 2 shot the master and celia. I don't even make it to the 6 turn worm explosion on any fight but on the training dummy I was able to get well over 80k damage on turn 6 when it...

Re: Shaloren supremacy... should something be about done it?
Timeless, though, avoiding the imbalance means a single ability (and a T4 one at that) in a single race is to be avoided. It just plain doesn't cause a ton of harm if you go out of your way to not abuse it. Well, yes. If your goal is to not abuse an OP talent sure. You can say that about anything t...

Re: Shaloren supremacy... should something be about done it?
Shaloren are certainly more powerful, its not just Timeless, though, the speed increase can be as high as 60+% that is possibly the best gspeed increase in the game. Its better than Blinding Speed. I believe Yeek also have a passive gspeed increase that is significant? Combined with the Archmage or...

Re: Shaloren supremacy... should something be about done it?
Seriously, I was just in a discussion on chat the other day about why Thaloren and Skelly have a much bigger exp penalty than Shaloren, which is the most OP race in the game right now? Give shaloren a 50% exp penalty and leave as-is, or nerf the crap out of Timeless and they can keep 25%.

Re: cef3spawn64 segfault
That actually worked. Thanks Dark God! I have actually been wrestling with this all week to try to figure out how to get the 32 bit launcher to work in steam. It defaults to using the 64 bit launcher, which is buggy, but the 32 bit game engine runs flawless. I really want to launch it this way in st...

Steam Linux Client Launch Questions
Hello. I am running Debian Wheezy 64 bit and have 469 hours logged thus far of the game. Love it! But.. I have noticed some strange oddities running the version of the client that is launched from the Steam launcher, such as the game bugging out with the Melinda quest, sometimes failing to save or r...

Problems in Linux with WEBCORE function
My in game web browser (not the Steam overlay browser; that one works fine) has never worked. I am talking about the one that shows up when you start the game, and the one that you can bring up in the game itself that is connected to ToME. I believe it is causing my game to always crash on exit and ...
