ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

For example the faerie race which is for ToME v. 1.2.3 is compatible with this version? Are all "old" addons compatible? Will i get bugs if i run the game with old addons or maybe it's just a risk that i can take or not?

I intend to play this Necromancer rework (cause in vanilla it'a a bit dull) but i'm not sure if it's balanced... Is it? Or is it OP? Or maybe too weak?

1) at lvl 5 lasts for 8 turns which combined with Essence of Speed and Blinding Speed means 16 actions right?

I looked the description of the new Embers of Rage patch and there is this part that says:
"Titan battlesmasher prodigy replace by irresistible sun"
I just checked, irresistible sun is still there as a prodigy. There is no Titan Battlesmasher.
