So a bug report was just filed about block having some weird tooltips involving damage like manaburn.
Does anyone know if you actually can block things like manaburn damage, or is it just actual damage?

Re: 55 hours in and finally...
My thoughts exactly. I was at 136, I think, before I finally won.
Roghain, congratulations! You are shaping up to be a much better player than I am.

Re: A suggestion for a couple of gold sinks.
1. Access to optional zones, which yield some bits of interesting lore, of course experience, a chance for a powerful artifact and maybe even achievements. Examples: a) Hire a digging crew for 1000g in Last Hope, that puts a hole (zone entrance) into a random part of the mountain chain surrounding ...

Re: "Your character may have been played while not online."
Character Reports. It's for all your victories, your especially interesting/embarassing losses, and whatever crazy goal someone's trying to do (Mankeli and his Madnesscromancer). So if you're one of the batshit insane people who actually like playing on Madness, pick any class from Tiers A-C (or a N...

Re: A suggestion for a couple of gold sinks.
What about paying money to respec more than usual? That'd let less experienced or more experimental players mess around a bit more late-game, and let powergamers use early-game powerful strategies without crippling their late-game build. It would also make Adventurers even more overpowered than they...

Re: In-Universe Religion
Tooth of the Mouth and other corruptions are apparently Amak'Thel being pissy about being brutally slaughtered by his own creations. Anmalice and similar might be Sher'Tul, but those are just possibilities. Finally, agreed on some of that, but what about people like the elves who have far, far longe...

Re: "Your character may have been played while not online."
Well, you should still be able to upload your characters just fine, so long as you're connected when you do the uploading. If you're worried about random people finding your character and thinking you cheated, there's not much you can do about that, but for characters you share yourself you just hav...

Re: Full Necro concept… Pg1, now in add-ons section.
Both of those are cool ideas. That's something to add to a blaster-it's not a nuke, it's an attack that fits the theme of the Necromancer and lets you play in a fun way. Stuff like that is gold. Marked By Death is less useful against bosses, since the only other person taking damage is probably goin...

Re: Think Tank: Touch Control
I think Marson's UI adds the ability to drag abilities on the hotbar to another spot on the hotbar. It's glitchy (I've had the Rod of Recall dissappear more times than I care to remember) but it's much better than constant right clicking and working through menus to organize abilities. That seems li...

Re: Full Necro concept… Pg1, now in add-ons section.
Life Drain: Good. Blood Rain: This sounds bad. Your most challenging enemies are individual monsters. In addition, radius 5 means affecting 60 squares, so even if you're surrounded by a dozen monsters in that area, each attack only has a 1/5 chance of hitting anything. If you only care about damagin...

Re: Full Necro concept… Pg1, now in add-ons section.
You're right. There is no PURE blaster from start to finish. Ultimately, I wanted someone to have to transition from hybrid to pure blaster throughout the game rather than being able to play one style from start to finish. ... Personally, I hate that style of sniping play. Right, so you're forcing ...

Re: In-Universe Religion
We leave home with a Sher'Tul chest. The first boss we kill drops a Sher'Tul artifact. There's an enormous Sher'Tul ruin that's steadily expanding its influence over its location in a forest just south of Derth. Tooth of the Mouth is powered by unknown forces, just like Sher'Tul artifacts, so the dw...

Re: Full Necro concept… Pg1, now in add-ons section.
The issue is a lot of it is locked away. I missed the Grasping Claws/Blood Curse combo, so you can at least avoid your own summons, but UEing enemies only works when your enemies happen to be undead. Even with that, though, a lot of attack abilities are just higher tier with the lower tier abilities...

Re: Full Necro concept… Pg1, now in add-ons section.
So, if I want to play as a blaster... What do I do? And looking at the build, remember 67 class and 49 generics. Since you only have three generic categories and Harmony/Vile Life aren't too useful for this class, you're looking at being able to completely fill two categories and drop 9 points in th...

Re: Full Necro concept… Pg1, now in add-ons section.
Agreed, but it won't free up any talents. You combined Forgery of the Haze and Husk into Animus Purge, so you're just removing one talent. In addition, you still haven't made the base concept compatible with superminions. You could find a way to put them on your current build, Delmuir, but that's go...
