Noob here, the tutorial is really easy, but the boss at the end just obliterates you, and there's no more monsters to grind on the map...what am I missing?

Yeah I can't even get past the tutorial man!
Actually the tutorial is really easy. Then right at the end you have to face the 'boss' whose 3 times as tough as you. there's nothing left on the map to kill to gain experience?
