yea, that was it. I was just moving the app. It worked with I ran the app from extracted directory. I'll have to move the whole directory.

I am playing on OSX and that's exactly where my saves are located

I downloaded the OSX binary and moved the T-engine.app application to the Application directory. When I run it I just get a black screen.
