Re: Well, at least I'm getting better at this..

I have no idea how I missed the movement speed decrease using them. It explains a lot of the weirdness I was experiencing though. Thanks!

Re: Well, at least I'm getting better at this..

Do me a favor, as I have just started a Stone Warden. What do you mean you keep dying because you forget to turn off stone vines? I can't seem to think of a situation that you would want to turn them off. :/

Yes, I'm still a noob. Just FYI. lol

Re: ToME inspired D&D 3.5 stuff

Thanks for that point at E-Prime. I will have to read up on it.

I am still available to assist if needed. Opinions checked at the door. To be quite honest, I don't care what format we would use, just that we make it. A P&P version of ToME would just be so fantastic.

Re: ToME inspired D&D 3.5 stuff

Tolerance has zip-all nothing to do with this. It's a completely unnecessary and frankly, immature dig at something you don't personally like. You could have written it in any number of ways without saying 4e "destroyed" D&D, but you consciously did and immediately tried to play it of...

Re: ToME inspired D&D 3.5 stuff

And to anyone interested, I would be happy to help. For those who are not aware Pathfinder is essentially and updated 3.5 edition after WotC destroyed the D&D franchise with 4th Edition. (Just my opinion, no flame wars here) Pretty weird that you post something that would spark a flame war, but...

Re: ToME inspired D&D 3.5 stuff

Oh God what I wouldn't give to have a Pathfinder RPG rulebook for ToME. And to anyone interested, I would be happy to help. For those who are not aware Pathfinder is essentially and updated 3.5 edition [removed as I shouldn't have an opinion] I have never written anything for a pen and paper before,...

Re: Time to update guides and wiki

Excellent! Thanks for pointing me to GameState.lua. I don't know that I would have found those without some guidance. And thanks for walking me through the code for Prox too. It seems a little confusing how loot gets generated and dropped but at the same time, it seems a more elegant solution than o...

Re: Need some help

Thanks Crim, I always forget about the in game chat to be totally honest. I see it there but tend to avoid it as it just always seems to be spamming achievements and deaths. I will have to give it a shot...:) If that's what's keeping you away, won't you be happy to know you can selectively disable ...

Re: Time to update guides and wiki

So I am working through all the Bosses right now, code diving to verify their stats and such. I am really at a loss with what to do. For example, I am looking at Prox the Mighty at this point. http://te4.org/wiki/Prox_the_Mighty The info is correct but there are some things I am confused with and co...

Re: Time to update guides and wiki

Um... wow is really all I can say looking at this thread. There is a lot of work here and I think I know how I can help. TL;DR -> Check out this project management system that is free, we need to organize if we want to make any progress, I'm new so don't bash me for trying to help in my own way. :D ...

[BUG] [1.1.5]Transmogrification Chest, Action after death

Simple bug.

When you die, and choose the option to go someplace else, you are not prompted to deal with your Transmogrification Chest. It will ask you to clear it when you enter your next zone. It's not a big deal but it is just outside of what I understand the standard behavior to be.

Cheers

Re: Need some help

@vaughner: Yes, we know that there's not a ton of helpful information for new players, however, we do have a couple of people working on the wiki. We're cleaning it up first and then going to be adding new content. If you would like to help, we'd be grateful. I was looking at helping with the Wiki ...

Re: Need some help

I would say sticky a new thread, put all the relevant links in the first post, and leave it open for discussion. As long as the first post is kept up to date the conversation won't clutter anything IMO. I don't think there would be any reason to rewrite everything when these guides already exist. Wh...
