I couldn't reproduce this bug myself - I made a trench strider and went to sludgenest, walked around the level drowning things for a bit - so I'm slightly at a loss. Well that's not gone well. Friggin' bears. Acid trees are amazing for wiping out hordes, and the secondary support functions are quite nice. Burning Prison is also nasty for nailing down rares if you get the Freeze to stick. This was surprisingly finicky, but in hindsight I bet dropping Glacial Vap...
