They might have been, but if so, it wasn't listed as one of their skills when I scrolled over them.

I have had a couple instances of rares spawning with the Shivgoroth model, but with the abilities of another creature. Once was a ghoul, another time an elven cultists, and some other undead the third time. All different dungeons.

I just had this happen to meet as well in Daikara. It was the alternate Daikara, on level 3. I managed to exit the game and save by hitting escape and clicking around inside the box where I thought the buttons where. When I reloaded the problem was fixed. Then it happened again after a while on leve...

I had the same thought, so I brought the cultist very close to death (and actually almost killed him accidentally because I forgot to turn of auto-Mucus), but nothing still.

Trying to unlock the Doomed, and I get to the bottom floor of the Dark Crypt. I read around the forums, and the consensus seemed to be that the cultist won't spawn your shade unless you deactivate his bone shield somehow. I did so with my Spellhunt Remnants, but no shade. Run around waiting for them...
