ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So... why don't I see a lot of builds on the vault with Aether Permeation? It sounds pretty much excellent... 70% aether resistance would give you 46,2% resistance to basically everything else. Plus grab a wild infusion. You can max your resistance to everyhting.

I've read that infinite scaling is introduced in 1.0.5 for the talents. How does it affect gameplay? Does it work for all campaigns? That means that I can put like, eight points in some talent I like, e.g. Evasion in the Maj'Eyal campaign?
