Personally, conversions are far nicer than 0 or 1 cooldown talents that I spam (especially in melee). 1-enter-1-enter-1-enter is so much more annoying to use than bumpbumpbump to kill foes, even if it is slightly better. Unless if bumps could somehow be changed to try to use skills other than attack...

If you're playing with addons that improve advanced necrotic minions (Razakai/Housepet), then definitely look into blighted summoning as a prodigy. The negative energy energy added to the necromancer through lichform actually decreases the amount of 'micro-managing' you have to do. Unless if you messed up the lichform ritual and didn't 5/5 the skill, you get a whopping +1 negative/turn regeneration that takes a load off of your mana consumption...

For lesser runes, Lesser Biting Gale should be the fifth rune (making acid wave fourth and lightning third). The full rune was never very useful as a status-clearer, and most of it's power comes from the 'wet' effect and freezing, which the Lesser rune keeps.

That is unusual. 216% resist, with only 36% damage. At most, I'd say that's a triple corrosion ego, which only accounts for up to 120% resist IIRC. Bump for previous problem.
It occurs when I've disabled any weapons in Grayswandir's Weapons Pack for spawning (in options).
When I have them all enabled, the exotic weapon shop works fine.

I haven't done any code diving, so I'm not sure if this is the case, but I think Death Vortex has some of the lowest cold damage in the necromancer's arsenal. Perhaps the freeze chance should be based on damage dealt vs a minimum value that scales upwards? To explain: At talent level 1, the 'minimum value' to freeze is 20 damage + 1.5*spellpower (multiplies with +cold% damage) At talent level 5, the 'minimum value' to freeze is 100 damage + 0.8*spellpower...
