Re: YAVP: Thalore Wyrmic - 1.3 Insane/Roguelike
i'd lik to say the mindpower grants a damage bonus.. but on insanre i dont think it matters. Like what do u put points into? I got to first prod.. in Dreadfell.. i lost to just one on hit ko. Is heroism THAT important? It was adventure and i got many lifes too lose.. but one death after choosing a p...

Re: AoE?
[quote="Matanui3"]Apparently the containment damage bonus of bombs just looks at how many spaces it is unable to hit (due to terrain) out of its maximum, and the damage bonus is not linear. It scales up to a good bonus pretty quickly, and then doesn't get much better from there.] From play...

Re: Are hostile Ziguranth patrols for grinding XP?
Within the FoV. If you spawn against three oppo's then run. You want to take them all one on one, so move to do so. Movement speed is probably your highest speed. Run away is your best option. Like sometimes your so OP you can tank, and you can/will get a feel for when this is so you can sit in the ...

Re: How to spend a category point?
For me it depends on the diff level.. On Normal there are so many.. less than +builds availible. Min max / newb trap. I would say go for it. If you gotta nice inscription? Like 4 is beyond nice, but you need to overwrite something.. go for it. I like playing halfling and i cat the racial tree. There...

"look at the button to view the cooldown" If you don't know the cool down it is very hard to plan around it. There are uber talents but they have a cool down.. so you can map them. If say Cauterize is on cool down its hard to aggro... It is a meaningless button yet You want to know the coo...

Re: AoE?
It differs on the class but think for example of say the Alchemist, where the normal targeting of Throw Bomb is centred on the principle target but without levelling the tier 2 Alchemist Protection; you realistically want to manually shift the centre of target so that you can throw your first bomb i...

On one of your bars there should be a padlock-image which when you click goes from closed to open and allows you to not only move the various bars around the screen but resize the bar to include as many tiles as permitted by main menu/game options/UI tab/graphic mode/tile size limit. You can also an...

Re: Stuck on Melinda [Quest: The Sect of Kryl-Feijan]
From what I know about that sacrificial chamber you start far left, Melinda is a ways on the right and the passage/door exit is always furthest right. It is not randomly generated but more like a vault chamber where I think the exit should pop up either when you kill the 4 goons and save Melinda or ...

Re: Lessons From First Nightmare Win
You even did it on Wyrmic. While Wyrmic is more defensive I can't see it as being in any way offensively handicapped. On the highest difficulty settings its about raw damage: hit and get out; and the Wyrmic has no pure offensive procs so its bump attacks are amoung the lowest. Add too most ERR all ...

Re: Elemental Fury/Dischord/Surge/Woes
Whats the Primacy? Like with the Elemental Fury.. which element acts first? Outside of most damage.. well on 2nd thought it is prolly the same as it says. heh I've used the Fury but I have never taken notes on what element did damage or acted first.. I guess fire? This would be a great poll question...

Re: [1.2.4] Class/Race Tier List
I would just like to add that you can do very good damage.. and to be honest better damage with a Wrymic than is apparent. Dissolve for starters will hit 8 times when attacking multi-handed. In the final battle ( http://te4.org/characters/63460/tome/73010969-fd6a-480d-be0d-ceac72d7e04d and my Psi Bl...

Re: New Hope Graveyard
As a Wrymic? If you have the Wild/Venom tree.. cast corrosive mist BEFORE you open the coffin. ( NM the damage the corrorded effect lasts so is free.) From there Stun or Confuse attack so Stunning blow / Shield Pummel / Bellowing Roar. Little known but Tornado ( Storm Drake Aspect) is also a stun at...

Re: Does anyone spend category points to upgrade a tree?
I can't say it is recommended but honestly I like to throw the last Cat point into the Racial. It depends on the build but its usually fairly tight on the generic side so one Cat has more value rather then a Skill tree. For example as a Halfling you can get an extra turn out of Duck/Dodge and Indomi...
