I used rod of recall to get to the wilderness, then entered town successfully, and then discovered that I can't change levels when tried to go back to the wilds :?

Add: phew, I was able to get rid of the effect by editing the save file. Later edit: DO NOT USE this solution :) Unless you are at the very start of the game. It works to remove effect, however it will reset the global map (cover it with fog) and remove any areas unlockable through quest (e.g. Lumbe...

[1.4.9] Got Stalked, counter in negative numbers infinitely

A random unique mold has stalked me, the game displayed an error popup during the fight. After mold's death I've noticed the stalk counter on me does not go away - instead, it went into negative numbers and keeps increasing. Attaching an error report file and a screenshot. [1.4.9] Worm Walk - no health cost when used to create worm

Worm Walk description says that when you target an empty tile, a carrion worm is created and you sacrifice a percentage of your own health for it.

However, the worm is always created for free.

Couldn't post an error report from the game, so doing it here - if you load a game with Battle Trance turned on, the game starts dishing out error messages, fast and infinitely, so you can't do anything. Nope, there's plenty of space on both ToME and system drives.

Overall, makes me think the topic name is incorrect - it's not only the Fortress that was reset, but pretty much all locations have been set to unexplored and repopulated with regular monsters (but not with bosses).

Hey guys, when I finished Fylish Caves and recalled back into the Fortress, I got to fight the fortress guard again. Killed the guardian, and entered the main room to find that: -the farportal room is locked back, -the butler is nowhere to see, -and the orb in the middle of the room is irresponsive,...
