This patch note was wrong/incomplete when it first went up, I think its fixed now. In 1.6 randboss stun talent levels were reduced to floor(level / 10)+1 before level 30. Heroism is awkward. I don't like that a huge part of most builds HP is coming from a temporary buff in an inscription slot. I also don't want to remove a huge amount of HP at once passive shield runes now plz, youll get free sound design in exchange for it I can only offer another 0.001 passive man...

The AI issue that immediately came up after those changes was randbosses edge of screen kiting melee endlessly as early as T1. This creates a situation where you either move back and LOS pull (correct play) or recklessly gap close to finish them off. Early game all forms of mobility are at a premium...

Afaik it's the only offensive talent in game that can double crit (base damage then explosion damage) thus with 150% crit power damage multiplier is x2.25 (not counting 1.5x modifier from explosion). Agreed, this is pretty silly. Is there any reason to not just baseline this talent tree on all characters? Its a fairly important one and the only people that don't go buy it right away are newbies that don't know any better.

I have no comment on saves as I don't think the mechanic has much value design-wise and would have preferred things be balanced around it not existing. Though I will note that it is a lot more useful than some people seem to know if and only if you pay very close attention to common stat breakpoints...

The bug here is Krogar in Unremarkable Caves has the Orb of Many Ways as a guaranteed drop via resolver.drops. So if you enter that zone before going west for the first time on Sun Paladin he gets generated, Orb gets added to game.uniques, and then the Orc at the end of Reknor can't drop it. I'm not...
