@ DaviddesJ I found that if you push enter when that screen loads up, the "start a new game" screen resets the screen sizes. and it is correct even if you cancel out. I've gotten so used to it on my Macbook Pro, that I sometimes do the same thing on my PC even though I don't need to do it....

As a developer on another game, my favorite answer is:
