ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

My golem decided to activate Molten Skin when I was talking with Melnela in Gates of Morning, killing her. I had the talent set to activate when enemies are in sight and adjacent.

Hrm, his spawning on top of a random floor item may make sense. There's a nice stalagmite (i.e. "interesting terrain" feature) pretty much right where I usually find him.

Yeah, that's the first place I checked, with no luck.

My Doomed character got his text upon entering level 4, slaughtered all the orcs, but Golbug is nowhere to be found. I've dug passages into most walls to see if he zipped into a hidden room or something - no luck yet. I'm loving this Doomed so far, but I'm thinking it's game over.

I can confirm that this bug still persists as of 5/8/13. This is my first alchemist - died, didn't refit golem before leaving the plane, and bugged.

I had the same issue running Vista. The two fixes for me were: 1) run it windowed, or 2) disable the game mouse cursor in video options, which makes the game use the standard windows cursor.
