Re: Odyssey of The Summoner: Spoiler and Discussion
I mean, sure, but I don't /want/ to execute my kids just to (presumably) get stronger ones from rebirthing them. As far as scaling, what seems to happen is they just get a flat thing. So a 21 HP dragon Breath, or similar. I'm cool with them being, like, not as good as mine, that's expected. But 21 H...

Re: Odyssey of The Summoner: Spoiler and Discussion
So what's the deal with Drakelings? Their talents seem fixed and not responsive to their stats, but that could just be because their stats are fixed and unmoving (Base increases, Current does not). All they seem to get is non-scaling inherited fire claw damage if you go for a fire melee build (And s...

Re: Odyssey of The Summoner: Spoiler and Discussion
@Rutee Drakelings level up automatically. It's strange that their points aren't being distributed... Their stats shouldn't be very low (especially since they get 4 points per level instead of 3). Do you have any other add-ons active at the moment? There are, I'll try disabling them. What's ahppenin...

Re: Odyssey of The Summoner: Spoiler and Discussion
...do drakelings get stat points to distribute? Because this arrow mark is driving me bonkers (As is their puny stats. I don't want to kill them to make them stronger!)

Osmosis Shield only drains Vim when it's regenerating HP
I know it's traditional to treat everyone as hypercompetent, but I can't count the number of times I've died because I move into a fight with it down. It's instant, even, so I don't think it would be breaking anything for this to be the case. That way you only lose it when you run out of Vim (or tur...

Re: [V.1.0.1] Race: Undead/Shadow race
This Add-on doesn't let me start a new game. Just hangs at 100% loading. Dunno what to tell you.

Re: Druid Class v1
I thought there was special dialogue in Zigur? Did I break it by getting Chant of Fortress or something?
Also, a thought about Staff Mastery: Maybe make it more like the other Mastery Talents, at 18, 24, etc? It feels weird to autoattack for more than my Cursed does with very basic staves.

Re: The "Good Guy" prodigy
Actually on topic Thank you for this. Something about the idea of a good guy prodigy bothered me, but I wasn't sure what. Now I understand, though. It would be like the game explicitly telling you what is right and wrong. But that should be up to the player; there are different ways to interpret th...

Re: The "Good Guy" prodigy
A Ziguranth is someone who grew up in a young civilisation born from a post-apocalyptic wasteland. An arcane magic user is, at best, someone who wanders around collecting weapons-grade uranium and going "only a few more levels until I learn to build ICBMs". You encounter one, you have to ...

Re: Gloom and Stalk -- should you just ALWAYS leave these on
Isn't Gloom a sustain so that it has a graphical effect?

Re: Summoners and You: A Guide for Beginners
The guide is generally pretty good, but I think your races bit can use some work. Cornac is pretty excellent for both new players and veterans. The starter category point can buy you an infusion slot early, giving another panic button while you progress, while class points are tight. Getting to 5/5 ...

Re: [1.0.1] Psiblades wil/cun Modifier
In the interim, you can disable the sustain before changing gear and it'll keep you from losing stats.
