Re: What is the "ego multiplier"?
The values of the ego. For example, a blazebringer's voratun greatsword will average about 1.5x the speed boost of a voratun dagger (because 1.2/0.8=1.5) Pretend I have never played this game before. I don't think that the ego multiplier is exclusively related to weapon speed, otherwise wouldn't it...

What is the "ego multiplier"?
Can someone explain what "ego multiplier" means in the item descriptions?
I understand that "ego" is just another word for "ability" and that each item can have two (prefix and suffix). What is this multiplier multiplying?

Re: Golem guide/tips
Thaks guys, that is very interesting reading. I did a facepalm after posting when I realized exactly what you said: the golem's items were simply not identified. Also, one thing still remains mysterious to me and that is the gem slots on the golem's profile. What do you equip there and how exactly? ...

Golem guide/tips
Hi, is there any guide or tip sheet regarding the alchemist's golem? For example, I noticed that the golem starts with a default weapon that does no damage. But the golem does do damage according to his character profile (and obviously he kills stuff, too). But I noticed that changing his weapon has...

Re: How does shielding... uhm, work?
Ok, I managed to piece that together. I guess the main thing to keep in mind is that this skill is not useful if you have no source of damage shield. Like if you carelessly overwrote your damage shield runes. EDIT: one more thing... do damage shields stack? I could potentially activate one with a ru...

How does shielding... uhm, work?
Hi, I couldn't find Spell / Aegis in the wiki, but I have a question about the "Shielding" ability. Does it actually add any shielding to yourself? It sounds like it ONLY affects other shields, is that right? And what is a "damage shield"? The other shields it mentions (time, dis...

Trying to find the trigger for deaf halfling alchemist quest
Hello, I don't think this is a spoiler quest or anything as it was one of the first things I stumbled upon playing a dwarf character who first entered the outside world. There is this foul-mouthed, hard-of-hearing, all-caps-speaking halfling somewhere who gives you an alchemist quest. I thought I kn...

Re: Gloom and Stalk -- should you just ALWAYS leave these on
Thanks everyone for the replies. I want to update the wiki to have this information. I still find everything about this game esoteric. I don't have an opinion really about whether it should be passive or sustained. But I wanted to understand what the nuance was. I assume most people leave these abil...

Gloom and Stalk -- should you just ALWAYS leave these on?
I checked the wiki but there was no useful information regarding these two sustainable skills. But as far as I can tell, there is no cost for leaving these on all the time. Is that right? Does it not even affect infusion saturation? If so, then what is the point in them being sustainable? It looks t...
